Frequently asked questions
How do I unlock the full course?
Open the ForCandles app and complete any of the first four free lessons. When you reach the paywall, tap Unlock Full Course and follow the prompts. The full course is available for a one-time payment of £14.99 — no subscription, yours forever.
I've already paid — why is the course still locked?
If you've completed a purchase but the content is still locked, go to the unlock screen and tap Restore Purchases. This re-links your Apple ID purchase to the app. If the issue persists after restoring, please contact us at support@forcandles.uk with your Apple transaction ID.
Can I use the app on multiple devices?
Yes. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID. Download ForCandles on any compatible iOS device signed in with the same Apple ID, then tap Restore Purchases on the unlock screen to access your full course.
How do I request a refund?
All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find your ForCandles purchase, and submit a refund request. Apple handles all billing and refund decisions directly.
My progress has disappeared — what happened?
Progress is stored locally on your device. If you have deleted and reinstalled the app, or restored your device from a backup, some progress data may have been lost. Your purchase is safely linked to your Apple ID and can be restored — tap Restore Purchases to recover access to the full course.
Is there an Android version?
ForCandles is currently available on iOS only. An Android version is planned. If you'd like to be notified when it launches, please email support@forcandles.uk with the subject line Android Waitlist.
What iOS version do I need?
ForCandles requires iOS 15.1 or later. It is optimised for iPhone and compatible with iPod touch. It is not yet verified for macOS, though it may run on Apple Silicon Macs via the App Store.
Will there be more lessons added?
Yes. Any new lessons added to ForCandles will be available to all full course purchasers at no additional cost. Your one-time purchase includes all future updates and additions to the course, forever.
Restore a purchase
Already paid? Open the app, go to the unlock screen and tap Restore Purchases. Your Apple ID purchase will be re-linked and the full course will unlock immediately.
Refund request
All refunds are handled by Apple directly. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to report a problem with your ForCandles purchase.
